Graduating Seniors - Volunteer Points Requirement

To qualify for a Barnes County North Dollars for Scholars Scholarship, graduating seniors must earn at least 20 volunteer points.
 

Points can be earned through the following opportunities:

     - Selling 50/50 Tickets at sporting events - 1 hour = 1 point

     - Attending Dollars for Scholars Meeting (student & parent) - 1 hour = 1 point

     - Pizza Sales (usually in November or December) - 5 pizzas sold = 1 point

     - Shrine Circus Helper - 3 points

     - Fun Night (spring) - 1 hour = 1 point

     - Participating in BCN's College Application Day - 1 point

     - Attending Special Speakers on FAFSA changes - 2 points

     - Miscellaneous Tasks (stuffing envelopes, brochures, etc.) - 1 hour = 1 point

 

Important: You may use up to 40 volunteer points on your scholarship application.

Students can check their current total points with our point keeper at the school front desk.
