Penny Wars is a friendly competition between each elementary grade (Pre-k through 6th) to see which class can collect the most money during the set time frame. At the end, the class that collects the most money per student will win a pizza party.

All money collected will go into each class's account. These accounts will continue to grow each year until the class graduates. When they become seniors, students will have the opportunity to apply for their class funds as a scholarship through Barnes County North Dollars for Scholars.

Each classroom will have a pail to collect donations. Any current U.S. currency is accepted - pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and bills.
